On June 17, 2021, in recognition of World Refugee Day, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Berkeley donated to the Street Level Health Project and the Multicultural Institute. Both the Multicultural Institute and Street Level Health  are dedicated to promoting self-sufficiency for marginalized people of color and recently arrived immigrants in Alameda County by offering equitable access to health and employment regardless of socioeconomic or immigration status. Each organization  received personal hygiene items and 175 face masks including a flyer detailing the meditation and relaxation sessions available through the Tamarkoz® App and live on Instagram and Facebook. The Street Level Health Project team and the Multicultural Institute staff expressed sincere gratitude for M.T.O. Berkeley's generosity in donating these essential items in honor of International Refugee Day.
