On May 12, 2021, International Nurses Day, coinciding with the holy birthday of the 40th Sufi Master, Hazrat Mir Ghotbeddin Angha, students from the M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Sydney Centre came together on a global day of action and celebrated the end of Ramadan and Eid-al-Fitr by giving back to their local communities. On this day also commemorating the first anniversary of M.T.O. Charity activities, two hundred and fifty hampers containing non-perishable foods and essentials were donated to those most in need within the community as part of on-going Global Covid-19 relief efforts. These care packages were donated in collaboration with other leading charity organizations including the Hope Hostel, Meals Plus Parramatta Mission, Blacktown Women’s and Girls’ Health and Youth Off the Streets. The donations were warmly received.
