Los Angeles Times Festival of Books

  • Los Angeles, California
  • April 22-23, 2017
  • University of Southern California

M.T.O. Publications® participated in the 22nd Annual Los Angeles Times Festival of Books on April 22nd and 23rd, 2017 at the University of Southern California campus. This annual book festival is the largest of its kind in the United States. Every year over 150,000 are in attendance at the festival to check out booksellers and publishers. There are literacy, religious and cultural organizations representing diverse ethnic and cultural communities of Los Angeles whom offer books in different languages and genres. Participating in the festival for the second year in a row, M.T.O. Publications held a booth located near the main entrance to the festival. There displayed were English books written by the great M.T.O. Sufi Masters of the current era on Sufism, poetry, and cutting-edge science. In addition, a few samples of books written in other languages, and the various volumes of “Sufism: Science of the Soul” journals, were also available. As a result of M.T.O. Publication's participation in the festival, dozens of attendees were able to visit the booth to explore and purchase the available books, while learning about Sufism and M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism®'s history and teachings. The featured book at the booth this year was “Peace” by Hazrat Salaheddin Ali Nader Angha.
