On May 11 2021, in commemoration of the birthday of the 40th MTO Sufi Master, Hazrat Mir Ghotbeddin Mohammad Angha, as well as Eid al-Fitr and International Nurses Day collectively, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Toronto centre celebrated with food and PPE donations to the community. The M.T.O. Toronto volunteer students donated to the Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto. 200 Face Shields, 90 homemade Face Masks and 50 Isolation Gowns were donated and delivered to the hospital. In addition, M.T.O. Toronto donated 38 full bags of non-perishable food items to the food bank at Community & Family Services of the Salvation Army Yorkminster Citadel. Informative flyers on Tamarkoz® free guided meditation sessions were also included with the donations.
