On March 19, 2021, in celebration of the Persian New Year and as part of the M.T.O. Global COVID-19 Campaign, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Milwaukee/Chicago center, donated over 30 boxes of baby essentials and 400 non-perishable food items to the Family Focus organization in Chicago, Illinois. Family Focus is a non-profit organization in Illinois with the mission to promote the well-being of children from birth by supporting and strengthening families in and with their communities. They provide parents and their children with critical resources and learning opportunities to encourage healthy development in their communities. The staff of the organization was also provided information about the online Tamarkoz® sessions, in an effort to alleviate the stress and anxiety experienced during these uncertain times. The Family Focus organization, whose supported families have been immensely affected by COVID-19, conveyed their gratitude to M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® for their efforts in supporting their ongoing mission during this pandemic.
