On March 19, 2021, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Atlanta center celebrated International Nowruz day by donating essentials and PPE to families in their community. In total, 110 hand-sewn face masks, large hand sanitizers, children’s backpacks, care packages, vegetable seed packets, and 555 pounds of non-perishable food was donated to Cobb County Division of Family and Children Services, and Ser Familia, an organization geared towards developing stronger families. The recipients of the donations were also informed of the mental health support resources available through the M.T.O. Tamarkoz® app.
