On March 19, 2021, students from the M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Melbourne Centre came together on a global day of action and celebrated International Nowrouz Day by giving back to their local communities on the eve of Persian New Year, by donating eighty care packages containing non-perishable foods and essentials to those most in need within the community as part of on-going Global Covid-19 relief efforts. The eighty care packages consisting of over 1000 items of non-perishable foods and essentials were donated in collaboration with the East Burwood Uniting Church and the Bay Hampton East Community Information and Support Service.
