On March 18, 2021, In celebration of the International Day of Nowruz, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Vancouver Centre donated 255 tote bags to Burnaby Neighbourhood House, a local community house. These bags included non-perishable food items such as cereal, canned chili, canned fish, and pasta, as well as hand-sewn facemasks. Each mask was packaged with a hand-written note and each bag included a flyer wishing community members a hopeful and rejuvenating spring. Volunteers were grateful for the opportunity to continue helping their community in spreading joy and hope of new beginnings during such uncertain times.
