On February 4, 2021, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Vancouver Centre celebrated the birthday of Sufi Master Professor Sadegh Angha by joining M.T.O. centres across North America, Asia Pacific, and Europe in making charitable acts of donations, and gifted 60 hand-sewn children’s face-masks to Edmonds Community School. Additionally, M.T.O. Vancouver donated 80 packets of assorted seeds to 4 long-term care homes across Greater Vancouver as part of the global launch of the M.T.O. Sustainability Initiative. These seeds were provided for the gardening activities of residents at Adanac Park Lodge, Kiwanis Care Centre, Little Mountain Place, and S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Simon K.Y. Lee Seniors Care -all care centres who were previously gifted care packages as part of M.T.O. 's Nurses Day donation of 500 care. Concurrently, to celebrate the inaugural M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Day recently proclaimed by the City of Burnaby, M.T.O. Volunteers gathered online with the Mayor of Burnaby and other local government officials.
