On December 21, 2020, the M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Vancouver Centre donated 60 individual bags with winter kits which were prepared by the volunteers and distributed to the less fortunate in collaboration with the Burnaby Homeless charity organization. With the weather getting colder and the increased precipitation of the winter season, the contents of the packages were tailored to help keep the recipients warm. The kits included supplies such as thermal socks, masks, toques, gloves, hand warmers, heat reflecting blankets, and ponchos. M.T.O Vancouver volunteers were delighted to collaborate with the Burnaby Homeless organization and give back to people in need in their community. The Centre hopes to grow this relationship and continue to support their community.
