On February 2, 2017, In honor of the date of birth of Hazrat Shah Maghsoud Sadegh Angha, the students of M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Chicago/Milwaukee center volunteered at the Ronald McDonald house near Lurie Children Hospital in Chicago. The Ronald McDonald House provides a supportive “home away from home” for families while their child is being treated at a nearby hospital. The students of M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® conducted a story time activity hour titled “Sufi Story Hour” in which they provided an hour of music with Persian instruments, dance, playing and reading “Rumi story” to the children and their families who attended. This event was filled with much gratitude from families as the M.T.O. students provided a caring, compassionate, fun-filled environment for children with complex medical needs. The M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® students felt humbled and grateful for this incredible experience.
