For the International Day of Tolerance on November 16, 2020, M.T.O. centers throughout the United States, Canada, and Australia united in a special virtual project to organize and host individual roundtable discussions that wove together each city’s unique fabric of society. In one day, 41 individuals and organizations joined M.T.O. for this program that also honored our school’s 41st Sufi Master, Professor Sadegh Angha. The purpose was to discuss tolerance, a concept at the heart of interhuman dialogue, and understand how others define this topic, in what respects they’ve witnessed intolerance, and how we can step forward both as individuals and as a community to create a more understanding society. We appreciate the individuals, organizations, and press who believed in the importance of this initiative as much as we did.
