On November 11, 2020, to continue the ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Toronto Centre donated full packages of non-perishable food items to affordable housing residents in need in Scarborough. The donation for the nearly 50 families included items such as rice, pasta, cooking oil, and a variety of dried beans and canned vegetables. Flyers for the World Children's Day Tamarkoz® event were included with the donations. Mrs. Salma Zahid, Member of Parliament and her constituency assistant, joined MTO Students for this donation event.
