M.T.O. Chicago/Milwaukee Donate to Seven Hospitals and Community Centers around Chicago

On September 4, 2020, In honor of 50th year of the appointment of Professor Nader Angha which also falls on the eve of International Day of Charity, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Chicago/Milwaukee center prepared and delivered 845 face masks, 116 face shields and 165 individually packaged food items to Comer Children’s Hospital-University of Chicago Medicine, Rush University Children’s Hospital, Office of Alderman Harry Osterman, United Community Center, The Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, and Family Focus. United Community Center is an organization dedicated to providing limitless opportunities to help community members reach for and achieve their goals. The Mercy Home for Boys and Girls is a safe and nurturing residential treatment home aiming to save the young lives of Boys and Girls. Family Focus is a nonprofit organization in Illinois that provides family support services, including home visiting, doula services, parent education, and more in order to promote the well-being of children from birth by supporting and strengthening families in and with their communities. The medical staff and directors of community organizations were also provided information pertaining to online Tamarkoz session, in an effort to alleviate the stress and anxiety experienced during these uncertain times.
