M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Sydney Centre on September 4, 2020 and on the eve of the International Day of Charity, celebrated the 50th anniversary of the appointment of Sufi Master Professor Nader Angha, by delivering hundreds of hampers to children in need across a number of Children’s Hospitals and Hospice facilities as part of the continued M.T.O. COVID-19 response. The purpose of this initiative was to provide these children with a sense of empowerment and hope during this otherwise stressful period. In collaboration with five different Children’s Hospitals, 2,170 items comprising of story books, board games, colouring books and painting materials were donated in the form of 310 hampers. Being able to commemorate the International Day of Charity by lending a helping hand and bringing a smile to a child’s face, was for us the best way to celebrate this occasion.
