In addition to recognizing the eve of International Day of Charity, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Toronto Centre celebrated the 50th anniversary of the appointment of Sufi Master Professor Nader Angha, by donating and distributing hundreds of supplies for the children and youth at East York's Michael Garron Hospital, as well as full packages of non-perishable foods to Bob Rumball Canadian Centre of Excellence for the Deaf. Beaches-East York MPP Rima Berns-McGown kindly joined M.T.O. volunteers for the successful donation. Clare Olmstead (Vice President of Major Gifts and Planned Giving) and the paediatrics staff received these donations at Michael Garron Hospital. These supplies included 250 fun tote bags containing items such as sanitizers, masks, colouring books, bookmarks, crayons, and handmade neck pouches, while the food packages included rice, cooking oil, various canned vegetables, and a variety of dried beans.
