On July 31, 2020 which coincides with Eid Al-Adha, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Phoenix in association with the Mayor of Phoenix, donated 48 food care packages to UMOM, an organization helping children dealing with domestic violence. Packages included tuna, pasta, bread and other food items. In the second visit, volunteers donated to Valleywise Health Medical Center’s pediatric department that treats families from all income levels including low income families. Donated items included hand sanitizers, baby wipes, diapers, bleach, homemade masks and gloves. All children received coloring books, crayons and postcards to share one thing they are grateful for. All PPE and food care packages came with Tamarkoz® App flyers to offer free breathing and meditation practices in the fight against COVID-19.
