In observance of Eid al-Adha on July 31, 2020, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® in Sacramento joined the M.T.O. global charity effort in honoring children by donating 300 bags of school supplies to children at the Samuel and Bonnie Pannell Community Center. In addition, M.T.O. handmade and donated a total of 700 face shields to Shriners Hospitals for Children in Northern California, Sacramento’s Children Center at Sutter Medical Center, and the Robla School District. NBC and ABC’s local affiliates, KCRA3 and ABC10, attended the event at the Pannell Community Center to bring awareness to community efforts in empowering children. M.T.O. students are grateful to these organizations for allowing them to serve their communities in this way.
