The M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Auckland Centre on July 31, 2020 celebrated one of the holiest days in the Islamic calendar, Eid al-Adha, by delivering hundreds of essentials to low income youth-organizations, schools and families across 3 locations within Auckland. In continuing to help the community in the fight against COVID-19 and in collaboration with the UMMA Trust, Refugees As Survivors NZ (RASNZ), and Foster Hope Charitable Trust volunteer organizations, 228 food and care packages including non-perishable food and personal hygiene items, snacks, school supplies and toys were donated to those most in need within the community. In total 1,688 items were distributed to families in need.
