Three members of the M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi in Princeton, New Jersey met with a local talk show host and producer. During this interview, the M.T.O. members introduced the origins of Sufism as a bridge between religions, its practices as a discipline, and the history of M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism®. The members discussed how they were each introduced to Sufism and their experiences with implementing the teachings in their lives. The emphasis on Self-Knowledge and the discovery of "I", the true identity of the human being which is not limited by social or cultural norms, was expanded on within the Sufi teachings. It was explained that Sufism is not something one ‘converts’ to, with teachings that are for everyone as it is tailored to the individual.
