On July 31, 2020, the students of MTO Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® of New Jersey/New York joined in the MTO Global Initiative and donated 90 school bags and 30 snack bags to the Trenton HomeFront facility. Since its inception 25 years ago, HomeFront is a non-profit agency whose main goal is to assist families in need in Mercer County, and to break the cycle of poverty and end homelessness in New Jersey. The generous MTO gestures were well received and heartfelt appreciation was expressed by the recipient Directors present, both for the children’s care packages, as well as the Tamarkoz® wellness efforts that are offered virtually.
