In addition to their ongoing efforts in support of local communities impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Toronto Center celebrated Eid al-Adha today by donating and distributing numerous packages full of essential, non-perishable foods. These included rice, cooking oil, various canned vegetables, canned beans, pasta and a variety of dried beans. In total, 117 boxes and bags were equally distributed amongst three non-profit organizations in the Greater Toronto Area: Bob Rumball Canadian Centre of Excellence for the Deaf, Takbeer Food Bank, and Agincourt Community Services Association. Furthermore, information on M.T.O.'s Tamarkoz® App was shared with the organizations' staff as a means to utilize stress-relieving techniques during these uncertain times. The organizations’ managements extended their thanks and appreciations towards M.T.O.’s helpfulness to the community.
