M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Orange County center, on July 31, 2020, in honor of Eid-al-Adha donated 500 backpacks, containing school supplies, to Orangewood Foundation in the city of Santa Ana. Orangewood Foundation provides service to 2000 former and current foster children in Orange County, California. The Foundation was very grateful for generous donation from M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi®. District Director Claudio Gallegos, a representative from Congressman Lou Correa’s office and Councilmember Farrah Khan from the city of Irvine, in partnership with M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® also made a generous donation of baby clothing and other essential items for babies and toddlers to Orangewood Foundation. We also informed the Foundation that M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® offers free online meditation and stress relief classes on the Tamarkoz® App on Instagram, and flyers with this information were also included with our donation. We were grateful for the opportunity to help serve 500 children in need in our community.
