On July 17, 2020, in a continuing effort to help the community in the fight against COVID-19, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Phoenix center collaborated with the Chandler City Mayor Office to donate 500 masks, 15 Bunny Suits, 100 Gowns, 28 Face Shields to 5 organizations in need of PPE. The Chandler Mayor took a photo with the volunteers and learned about the Tamarkoz® App and city staff members added the app on Instagram on the spot to help spread awareness. On the same day, more PPE Donations were donated to Veteran Hospital and Valleywise Comprehensive Health Center – an Arizona-based network of hospitals and health centers offering specialized health care from pediatrics to dentistry and more for any income level. All PPE donations accompanied a Tamarkoz Flyer to offer as a source of learning breathing and meditation techniques.
