During the Week of July 17, 2020, volunteers of M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® in Houston, Texas visited various hospitals and clinics that provide COVID-19 testing and care to donate personal protective equipment in the form of 500 handmade face masks, 113 face shields, and 230 medical gowns. Houston Methodist Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine are located in the Texas Medical Center, which is the largest medical complex in the world and this is the fifth time M.T.O. Houston donates there. El Centro de Corazón Community Clinics, a Federally Qualified Health Center, serves Houston’s East End. Information about the Tamarkoz® meditation method was also included with each donation in order to help ease anxious minds and hearts during this time of pandemic. All recipients expressed how grateful they are to receive these donations.
