On June 26, 2020, in an effort to support the senior residents of the community, members of M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Atlanta visited the QLS Meadows Senior Housing with donations of non-perishable foods. The volunteers delivered 100 bags for the residents of the community, and six goody baskets filled with sweet and savory treats for the administrative team. The volunteers were joined by John. L. Sanders and two staff representing the office of State Representative Roger Bruce. The Manager and Coordinator of the Senior Housing community gave the volunteers the historic background of the foundation of the community and were informed of the mental health resources offered through Tamarkoz® App, for which they showed great appreciation. The purpose of this food donation was to express the beauty that comes from individuals and groups of individuals who come together to show support for communities most in need; a goal that was sincerely accomplished today.
