On May 25, 2020 to celebrate the end of Ramadan and to mark Memorial Day, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Salt Lake City center provided lunch, drinks and snacks to the Road Home shelter and the Volunteers of America Youth Center in Salt Lake City. Between the two shelters, 350 people were fed. Two officers from the Salt Lake City Police Department participated in the event and assisted M.T.O. volunteers in serving food to the homeless. As a result of this event, police officers are planning future collaboration with the youth center.
