To honor veterans and their families and to mark the end of Ramadan, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Dallas volunteers donated 5000 meals in non-perishable food item to families in need. The donations included 500 cans of food to Frisco Family Center as part of the Frisco Memorial Day ceremony which featured Frisco Mayor Jeff Cheney, Frisco Police and Fire chiefs, and other city dignitaries. The keynote speaker of the event, retired “Marine One” pilot Lt. Col. Richard Peasley, stated in a note that M.T.O. “has been doing such wonderful work for the needy and supporting our most vulnerable.” In addition, Councilman Tim Nelson thanked M.T.O. for an “incredibly generous donation”. The volunteers also donated over 1000 more meals to Methodist Hospital, St Cecelia Catholic School, and Frisco Housing authority for the low wage front-line employees who were experiencing hardship due to the Covid-19 virus pandemic and the families who were hard hit during the pandemic.
