On May 25, 2020, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Sydney Centre in marking the end of Ramadan and in celebrating the start of National Volunteer Week donated bags of food and essential items to those in need in association with in over 9 locations in Sydney. The locations included Meals Plus Paramatta Mission, Hope Hostel, SydWest Multicultural Services, Blacktown Women’s and Girls' Health Centre. North Sydney Council COVID-19 Centre, Hawksbury’s Helping Hands Inc, Sydney’s 24-7 Street Kitchen and Safe Space, Asylum Seekers Centre, Cumberland Women’s Health Centre, The Shed, and Women’s Community Shelters Beecroft House. A total of 935 food and care packages including 17,913 items and weighing more than 5.3 tonnes were distributed to 14 locations across Australia and New Zealand.
