On May 19, 2020, in continuation of the COVID-19 Relief campaign by the M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Vancouver Centre, volunteers delivered 110 care packages to healthcare facilities in the Greater Vancouver Area. Donations of healthy protein cookies were made to Lionsgate Hospital as well as Richmond General Hospital. These individually prepared packages also included information about the Tamarkoz® App to help support the hospital staff who are fighting COVID-19 at the frontlines. The healthcare professionals receiving the deliveries expressed gratitude for the random act of kindness. The efforts at Richmond General Hospital were also covered by a local newspaper.
