On Monday May 18, 2020, as a member of the Contra Costa Interfaith group in Northern California, the M.T.O. center in Berkeley participated in a food donation drive to Monument Crisis Center in Concord, California. Monument Crisis Center serves low-income families and individuals in Contra Costa County by providing nutritious food, education, general assistance and referrals. M.T.O. students donated 30 bags of non-perishable groceries, 30 bags of toiletries and 30 hand-sewn masks to this center. The amount of food from the collective effort of M.T.O. and the Church of the Latter Day Saints totaled: 10,108 pounds. At the end of the event, while everyone was gathered for a group photograph, the students informed the group of the Tamarkoz® App live sessions on Movazeneh® and Tamarkoz® and their effects on anxiety and stress relief. The Center and the members of the Contra Costa Interfaith were very appreciative and grateful of M.T.O. participation.
