On May 11, 2020, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® in San Diego arranged 330 special occasion gift bags containing snacks and energy liquids to honor the nurses and caregivers of local UCSD Healthcare Hospital. This location employs 3500 nurses and in attendance were Mr. Jose Alvarez, representative of Senator Ben Hueso of California. The Senator’s support and Jose’s words of appreciation was heartwarming and inspiring in front of nurses and care-givers who were pleased to see the support of their local public officials in person.
