On May 11, 2020 M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism®, Toronto Center donated 28 packages of food items to Takbeer Food Bank in Scarborough. Among the donated foods were rice, cooking oil, dried beans, canned vegetables, canned fish, and canned beans. Ms. Salma Zahid, Member of Parliament for the city of Scarborough, accompanied the M.T.O. students in this food drive. The MP expressed her appreciation for this humanitarian effort. The food bank manager deemed “the donated food items were extremely needed for the community”.
