As a part of National Nurses Week, on May 11, 2020, the M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Vancouver Centre delivered 60 protein bars individually packaged by M.T.O. volunteers to Surrey Memorial Hospital in Surrey, BC. Every protein bar and meal was accompanied with a Thank You card. Additionally, the cards provided information about the Tamarkoz®App, which can help to support the many hospital staff on the frontlines during COVID-19. The Surrey Memorial Hospital staff were very thankful to receive these items from M.T.O. and gave the volunteers a tour of their donation room. Furthermore, they presented the M.T.O. volunteers with a certificate and letter of appreciation for the donation. M.T.O. volunteers are continuing to work with Surrey Memorial Hospital to provide them PPEs in the near future.
