On Mother’s day, May 10, 2020, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Virginia Center donated 55 bags of food and gift cards to the Interfaith Service Initiative's Mother's day food drive, which went to 55 low-income immigrant mothers in the community who have lost their jobs due to Covid-19 crisis. Families were mothers with young children living in shared housing. The packages included small bags of rice, variety of beans, pasta, cans of meat and fish and vegetables, bread and cookies, sanitation items, and baby products.
