  • M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Orange County Center

On May 6, 2020, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Orange County Center, in an attempt to help the front-line health care providers in the fight against Covid-19, and in honor of nurses week, donated 100 hand-sewn isolation hospital gowns, 150 plastic face shields, and 80 cloth masks to Riverside Parkview Community Hospital. While making this donation, the CEO of Parkview Community Hospital, Mr. David Batista repeatedly thanked M.T.O. for making this generous donation. Mr. Batista then invited us to give an interview for the local news station, Channel 18 LA, which was outside of the hospital filming the donation. We informed the media that all M.T.O. centers around the world were in the process of making hand-made PPEs and donating them to health care providers. We also informed the media that M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi is also offering free online classes teaching stress-relief and calming techniques to cope with the stress and anxiety caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The hospital was also given flyers with the same information.
