On May 7, 2020, in an attempt to help protect and support our local health care providers in the fight against Covid-19, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Los Angeles Center has been working diligently on sewing 1,247 cloth face masks, 112 hospital isolation gowns, and hand-making 188 plastic face shields. This effort comes in preparation for May 12, where all PPEs will be delivered to 5 local hospitals. We want to thank our health care providers for their hard and diligent work. With each item delivered, we also provided flyers with information on free online resources and classes provided by M.T.O. to help with stress-relief and calming techniques in this difficult time.
