On November 10th 2015, the M.T.O. Sufi Association® participated in the bi-annual Interfaith Taizé Prayer hosted by St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Long Beach, California. Guests entered a beautiful candlelit sanctuary after their busy workdays, leaving behind the distractions of everyday life to sing along to prayers from Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish, and Muslim faiths, including the zikr "Allah Hu", led by M.T.O. Sufi Association®. Between each song or reading was an interval of silence, allowing guests time for personal prayer and reflection. At the end, participants left in silence - taking home with them a sense of tranquility and peace.
