As a part of M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism®'s global effort to aid hospitals and organizations which help fight the Covid-19 pandemic, on May 5, 2020, M.T.O. students at Berkeley center paid a visit to one of the major children's hospitals in Northern California called UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in Oakland. On that visit, the students donated 20 face masks, 10 face shields and 10 isolation gowns, all of which were prepared and sewn by student volunteers at Berkeley center. Additionally, the staff of the hospital were treated with cupcakes as a sign of appreciation of the overwhelmed and hardworking staff and to help bring smiles to their faces. The flyers of TamarkozApp were also distributed along with the donation items. The staff were encouraged to visit the app and take advantage of the benefits of Tamarkoz® sessions. The recipients at the hospital expressed their gratitude both verbally and in a letter.
