In their continued efforts to support the community during the Covid-19 crisis, for the week of April 27, 2020, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Dallas volunteers provided 465 hand-made face shields to Dallas area hospitals, nursing homes, pharmacies, and hospices. The recipients included Vibra Hospital, Abounding Hospice, Sina Pharmacies and two doctor’s offices. The volunteers also continued to provide food packages to families in need and the elderly. In this week, 34 boxes of food were delivered to families in need and low-income hospital workers whose spouses had been laid off. In summary, 5 medical facilities received PPEs and 44 low-income families received food assistance.
