On April 28th, 2020, students of M.T.O Shahmaghsoudi® in Denver donated 115 emergency food bags to vulnerable families and single individuals in north Denver, as well as the Volunteers of America Mission (VAM), a social service organization. This organization plans to support the most vulnerable groups including the hungry, elderly, at-risk children, and families in need to help with the COVID-19 pandemic crisis. Each emergency food bag contained non-perishable items such as: rice, pastas, cans of soup, vegetable cans, fruit cans, cereals, peanut butter, toasts, and protein bars. A flyer for Tamarkoz®App was also attached to each bag. The VAM staff were friendly and grateful of our efforts.
