On May 1, 2020, in an effort to support the local communities impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Atlanta delivered nearly 1,700 pounds of food to the Community Assistance Center (CAC) in Sandy Springs, Georgia. CAC is concentrating efforts on providing food to families that need support and providing financial assistance to make sure that people can stay in their homes. CAC is the first line of response for people who need support to prevent homelessness and hunger in the local communities. Included with the food donation was information about M.T.O.’s global effort to help ease axious minds and hearts through the Tamarkoz® App, live meditation sessions in various languages, and a course on coping with COVID-19. CAC staff welcomed our members with open arms and expressed their appreciation in person and on their Facebook page.
