On May 2, 2020, students of M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® in Berkeley donated 30 handmade shields to nurses of the Covid-19 unit and 12 to the respiratory therapists at Kaiser Hospital. These nurses and therapists are the true front line in the fight against the virus. The nurses and the therapists were so taken by the kind gesture of M.T.O. that they were calling it, "Christmas time" and some of them teared up as they were trying on the carefully and lovingly made shields. In addition to the shields, they were also treated to sweets such as cookies and lemon bars. They also received the flyers with information about the Tamarkoz® App and free Tamarkoz classes offered on M.T.O. TamarkozApp page on Instagram.
