On May 1, 2020, students from M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Orange County Center, in an attempt to help protect and support our local health care providers in the fight against Covid-19, donated 100 hand-sewn face masks to Sisters of St. Joseph, a convent who supports and funds a medical clinic for the low-income community in Orange, California. The sisters were very grateful and informed us they desperately needed cloth face masks for their health care providers at their medical clinic. We also provided the sisters with flyers with information on free online resources and classes provided by M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi to help with stress relief and calming techniques in this difficult time.
