On April 30, 2020, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Vancouver Centre donated 110 protein bars individually packaged by M.T.O. volunteers to Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC. Every protein bar was accompanied with a thank you card. Additionally, the cards provided information about the Tamarkoz®App, which can help to support the many hospital staff on the frontlines during COVID-19. The protein bars, which in many cases serve as lunch or dinner for the busy staff at Lions Gate, will be distributed among the various departments of the hospital. M.T.O. volunteers are continuing to work with Lions Gate Hospital and other hospitals in the area to provide meals and snacks to health care workers.
