On April 28, 2020, the M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Vancouver Centre delivered about 70 surgeon’s caps sewn by M.T.O. volunteers along with information cards about the Tamarkoz® App and Coping with COVID-19 e-Course to Eagle Ridge Hospital in Port Moody, British Columbia, to aid in the fight against COVID-19. The caps were distributed by one of the nurses to various units around the hospital. The nurses and other health care professionals loved the colorful caps so much they took photos of themselves and sent them to M.T.O. volunteers. They have also requested that more caps be delivered along with the face shields being prepared by M.T.O. Students. M.T.O. volunteers are continuing to make more caps from their homes and deliveries are periodically made to various health care centers.
