On April 27, 2020, Members of M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® in Ohio prepared 170 decorative bags of apples and oranges, granola bars, and chocolate bars, including the M.T.O. Covid-19 Tamarkoz® Flyer, for distribution by Neighborhood Food Services in Columbus. The project's purpose was to provide something a little extra for people in need, to brighten their day, and to give them the opportunity to learn about M.T.O.'s TamarkozApp. All together we donated 1,000 pieces of fruit, and over 500 granola and chocolate bars. In addition, to address the food pantry's urgent need for disposable gloves, we donated 400 pairs of gloves, for which they were very grateful. We received this comment from the Food Pantry staff; "On behalf of NSI and our neighbors, thank you so much for your kind contribution of the gift bags! They were a perfect way to put a smile on our neighbors' faces during these challenging times we are all going through! We truly appreciate your generosity!"
