To aid in the fight against COVID-19, the M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Vancouver Centre has contacted multiple health care facilities, including Saint Paul’s Hospital, a major hospital in downtown Vancouver, and delivered about 150 surgeon’s caps sewn by M.T.O. volunteers along with information cards about the Tamarkoz® app, and Coping with COVID-19 Course. The nurses and other health care professionals loved the colorful caps and eagerly awaited the donations. M.T.O. Volunteers are continuing to make more caps from their homes, and have started the production of plastic face shields to be donated to local health centers, as well as working on food distribution.
