The M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® in Dallas is coordinating a comprehensive effort in the fight against the adverse effects of COVID-19. The Dallas M.T.O. volunteers have been hand-making face shields, masks, and gowns for the healthcare workers and first responders who are at the forefront of this fight. Additionally, we continue to deliver hundreds of care packages, including non-perishable food items, to senior citizens and families in need. Thus far, hundreds of hand-made face shields and gowns have been delivered to police departments, USPS, grocery stores, and healthcare providers at multiple area clinics and nursing homes. It has been a labor of love, a manifestation of the universal love within all of us. We are all in this together.
