On April 17, 2020, students of the M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Chicago/Milwaukee center prepared and delivered 172 hand-made masks and 20 gowns to the Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. The goal was to donate shortage supplies to the hospital to fight COVID-19. The supervisor at the hospital accepted the supplies and requested to have the masks to be used in the surgery and ICU departments. On the same date, the students of the Chicago-Milwaukee center collected and delivered 20 boxes of food to the Casa Catalina Food Pantry in Chicago. This food shelter feeds 200 people daily, including the homeless.
